The ARIELL project is committed to modernizing inland waterway transport (IWT) education and training across Europe. By blending theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice and digital tools, we aim to deliver high-quality, accessible learning experiences that align with the EU Directive 2017/2397.
Our mission is to address the growing demand for well-trained professionals in the IWT sector and to foster cross-border collaboration through innovative, technology-driven solutions.
We envision a future where inland navigation is driven by highly skilled, digitally proficient professionals who are trained in equal, inclusive and cutting-edge environments.
The Ariell project aspires to become a reference point for harmonized IWT training across Europe, making inland navigation a sustainable and attractive career path for new generations.
